Anglo-American relations - The term Anglo-American relations refers to bilateral relations between the United Kingdom and the United States. The special relationship is a term used to emphasize the warmth and cordiality of the relationship between the leaders and military forces of the two countries and used to describe Anglo-American relations in a positive light; however, Anglo-American relations have gone through times of war and conflict as well as peace and close cooperation.
