List of current first-class cricket teams - This is a list of current first-class cricket teams, current as of July 2005, organised first by country and then alphabetically. For a fuller explanation of first-class status, see first-class cricket.
First-class cricket - First-class cricket matches are those in which both teams have two innings each and which involve either international teams or the highest standard of domestic teams. Generally, matches are eleven players a side but there have been exceptions to this.
