Digital broadcasting - Digital broadcasting is the practice of using digital data rather than analog to transmit broadcasts over television or radio. It is becoming increasingly popular for television usage (especially satellite television) but is having a slower adoption rate for radio.
Digital Multimedia Broadcasting - DMB (Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) is a digital transmission system for sending data, radio and TV to mobile devices such as mobile phones. It can operate via satellite (S-DMB) or terrestrial (T-DMB) transmission.
Data link - In telecommunication a data link is the means of connecting one location to another for the purpose of transmitting and receiving data. It can also be an assembly, consisting of parts of two data terminal equipments (DTEs) and the interconnecting data circuit, that is controlled by a link protocol enabling data to be transferred from a data source to a data sink.
