Pagans for Peace Tradition - Pagans for Peace Tradition in Wicca grew out of an activist political group of the same name founded in Toronto, Canada, in 1982 by Samuel Wagar and others. Wagar continued to publish Pagans for Peace Newsleter from 1982 until 2002, and through the network of contacts between politically left-wing and activist Pagans and Witches that formed around the newsletter, and through the group of covens which grew out of the original ritual group from 1985 onward, a Tradition of wicca emerged.
